Ribeiro, Jos\u00e9 Mauro Granjeiro<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_separator][vc_column_text]<strong>Abstract: <\/strong>As ind\u00fastrias biotecnol\u00f3gicas representam tecnologias portadoras do futuro com impacto no crescimento tecnol\u00f3gico mundial. Essas ind\u00fastrias est\u00e3o fazendo uma nova revolu\u00e7\u00e3o industrial, moldando novos bens de consumo dentre outros impactos positivos nos n\u00edveis socioecon\u00f4micos mundiais. Muitos nanomateriais s\u00e3o utilizados para a produ\u00e7\u00e3o de variados produtos na \u00e1rea aliment\u00edcia, instrumentos m\u00e9dicos, higiene e est\u00e9tica, tintas, farmacol\u00f3gicas, entre outros. No entanto, com o aumento do consumo das NPs h\u00e1 crescente preocupa\u00e7\u00e3o com a seguran\u00e7a desses materiais. O presente estudo avaliou a toxicidade de NPs ouro, di\u00f3xido de s\u00edlica, di\u00f3xido de tit\u00e2nio e prata, as mais utilizadas na produ\u00e7\u00e3o de materiais de consumo. Fibroblastos humanos foram tratados com 1 \u03bcg\/mL a 100 \u03bcg\/mL das NPs por 48h e a viabilidade celular foi medida pelo ensaio de Vermelho Neutro conforme o Guia 129 da OECD. As NPs de ouro, di\u00f3xido de s\u00edlica e tit\u00e2nio n\u00e3o apresentaram citotoxicidade enquanto 1 \u03bcg\/mL de NPs de prata promoveram mais de 50% de redu\u00e7\u00e3o na viabilidade celular.
